Setup HSR (HANA System Replication)

Easy practical approach to setup high performance, high availability DB cluster!

SAP HANA Database provide much robust, high availability of database with technique known as HANA System Replication (a.k.a HSR). In this easy to understand tutorial, we will go through quick setup of HSR.

Without further a do, let’s jump in.

Pre-req

Have identical SAP HANA Revision (or secondary site can be higher).

Recommended to keep Same OS and Kernel revision on both site.

We will setup the asynchronous, log replay method for site synchronization.
